LOS ANGELES -- A film will be produced by Elizabeth Fowler and Clark Peterson of Clear Pictures Entertainment about the internationally known "West Memphis 3".

In 1993 three teen boys were deemed satanic ritualistic murderers and convicted for the brutal murders of three eight year old boys on the basis of listening to heavy metal music, wearing black clothing and devil-worship.

Today new evidence was filed in Federal Court that links one of the stepfathers of the murder victims to the crime scene.

There is no physical evidence linking any of the "West Memphis 3" to the crime scene. Based on key life rights including the private investigator who tracked the crime "pro bono" for 14 years, the book DEVIL'S KNOT and a parent of one of the murder victims, John Mark Byers, who was long suspected by many as the real killer, the film, DEVIL'S KNOT, will portray the powerful, compelling and tragic story of what really happened.

As it turns out it was another stepfather's DNA evidence found at the scene, not Byers'.

Elizabeth Fowler says, "The film will be completely factual. This real life `whodunit' does not need any embellishment." Clark Peterson, producer of MONSTER, says, "This is one of the great crime stories of modern history and the new evidence makes it all the more compelling."
