Par books 'Corner' for Evans

Robert Evans and Paramount have acquired film rights to "Nice Girls Don't Get the Corner Office," by Lois Frankel.

"Nice Girls" is the story of four women competing for an exec position. Trailing behind, one of the women becomes entranced with a book that claims 100% success rate in taking female execs to the top.

Elizabeth Fowler will produce the project. Evans has also optioned the sequel novel, "Nice Girls Don't Get Rich," which will be released next year. The shingle is aiming to begin production on "Nice Girls" in spring 2005.
